Wan Hai Lines will expand further on its Asia to North America coverage by adding PHILADELPHIA port to its current Asia to East Coast of North America AA9 Service. This will be the first direct service from Asia to Philadelphia.

Port rotation of the service is as following-
HAIPHONG – SHEKOU – KAOHSIUNG – QINGDAO – CHARLESTON – PHILADELPHIA – NEW YORK – HAIPHONG

The effective voyage is scheduled from HAIPHONG in July 2022. The AA9 service, which connects Asia – East Coast of North America will provide clients with more service options. It will also strengthen Wan Hai Lines’ current services to better serve customers’ needs.

Wan Hai Lines began in 1965 primarily as a log transportation company operating in Taiwan, Japan, and Southeast Asia. In 1976, in response to the rapid development of international trade in the Asia Pacific and other international trends, Wan Hai transformed itself into a full-container vessel shipping company.

Wan Hai’s shipping routes include Taiwan, Kanton and Kansai areas of Japan, Korea, Mainland China, Hong Kong, Philippines, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, Vietnam, Burma, Cambodia, India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, and the Middle East. Wan Hai provides full-container vessel shipping with regular routes among these areas. Its network includes subsidiaries and agents in all of Asia’s major cities and ports.
