Zebra Technologies Corporation, a leading digital solution provider enabling businesses to intelligently connect data, assets, and people, announced that it has reinforced its commitment to the UK aerospace, defence and security industry by securing the Joint Supply Chain Accreditation Register supplier accreditation for the second consecutive year.

JOSCAR is a standardised, collaborative tool used by buyers in the UK aerospace, defence and security sector as a single repository for pre-qualification and compliance information. It reduces the time, cost, and resources needed to provide information to buyers, making it a trusted source of information to help organisations facilitate business decisions with specialist suppliers.

“This recognition helps reassure our customers and partners that our automated digital workflow solutions meet and comply with quality and industry standards, confirming our commitment to the UK aerospace, defence, and security sector,” said Mark Jolley, Director of RFID and Location Tracking Solutions, EMEA, Zebra Technologies.

This accreditation indicates that Zebra has successfully completed a thorough vetting process across company capability, accreditations, information security, corporate social responsibility, financial history, and ethical operations. Zebra worked with supplier information and risk management consultancy, Hellios, throughout the process.

An additional requirement for Ministry of Defence suppliers is cyber security certification. Zebra has achieved both Cyber Essentials and Cyber Essentials Plus certification from the IASME Consortium, a UK provider of cyber security and counter-fraud certification services.
